The Houston-area community is mourning the loss of Tanisha Savithri Reddy Dereddi, whose death on June 15, 2026, has left family, friends, and loved ones heartbroken. Reports regarding the circumstances of Tanisha’s death have connected her passing to a car accident in Houston. One accident report states that the crash occurred around 12:40 a.m. on June 15 on Memorial Drive and that one other person was injured. 

For those who loved Tanisha, however, her life cannot be defined by the accident that ended it. She was a daughter, sister, friend, student, and someone whose presence made a meaningful difference in the lives of many people.

Tanisha is survived by her parents, Raja Reddy and Pavithra Bora, her sister Rea Dereddi, as well as grandparents, godmothers, extended family members, and cherished friends.
